Playbook
Playbook: your year of outbound, planned in minutes
A Playbook is a ranked portfolio of narrow outbound campaigns for the year ahead, built by AvairAI from your website and, if you have one, an ICP document. Each campaign is one Industry x Size x Location slice with a one-line rationale, and the whole plan opens with a short thesis on why these markets, in this order. A Playbook holds up to 200 campaigns. From it you set a revenue goal that sizes the plan, assign territories, name the team and let Playbook Automation build or launch the campaigns on schedule. Most teams plan a quarter at a time and stay reactive. Playbook plans the year in about 10 minutes and keeps the plan alive as results come in.
From one URL to a ranked year
Give Playbook your website. It reads what you sell and who already buys it, then proposes a portfolio of narrow campaigns: a specific industry, a company-size band and a location, one line on why that slice is worth working. The list is ranked, so the strongest markets sit at the top and the long tail is there when you want it.
Add an ICP document if you have one (PDF, Word, text, HTML or Markdown) and Playbook uses it to sharpen the slices. Every campaign in the plan is a normal AvairAI campaign underneath: Pain-Signal Targeting finds the accounts showing public evidence of the pain you solve, AvairAI sources verified contacts and the 12-touch cadence runs across email, calls and LinkedIn.
Work backward from revenue
The Goal calculator starts at the number you are accountable for and works back to the interested leads it takes to get there, then to the campaigns that takes and how many a month: revenue, closed deals, proposals, opportunities, interested leads (MQLs), campaigns. The conversion rates are published B2B benchmarks banded by deal size, and every rate is editable. Deals under $10,000 assume about 6 interested leads per closed deal, $10,000 to $100,000 about 12 and over $100,000 about 25.
A worked default: $600,000 at an average deal of $40,000 is 15 deals, which needs about 183 interested leads for the year. At about 1.5 leads a campaign that is about 122 campaigns, about 10 a month, and the plan is sized to that number. Change the goal later and one click, Update the plan to this goal, re-plans to it. When the plan falls short, Playbook names the lever: more campaigns, or more people. The forecast is always a range, about 1 to 2 interested leads per campaign, so a period running four campaigns reads "4 to 8 leads". The forecast is arithmetic; the record of what each campaign actually produced is the truth, and it sits next to the estimate. Beside the schedule, Impact of delay states what waiting two weeks, one month or two months costs against the same goal.
Territories, team and versions
Assign campaigns to people in plain language: a rep takes the Northeast, another takes healthcare. Name anyone who will run campaigns, whether or not they use AvairAI yet. Playbook balances the rest to whoever is holding the least and shows who owns what.
Nobody sets a pace. Each person runs their own share of the plan over twelve months, so every month carries the same number of campaigns and everyone finishes the year together. The Team tab shows each person their number, for example "3 a month". Periods are anchored to your renewal date and shown as real dates, so "Sep 4 to Oct 3" means what it says.
Every change creates a version you can restore. Campaigns that already ran are frozen; only the road ahead is editable. A goal-sized plan is cut at the goal's number, evenly across the people. If the combinations exceed that cap, or the 200-campaign limit, Playbook tells you what was scheduled and what was not, for example "80 scheduled of 96 requested", instead of silently dropping the rest.
Playbook Automation: Build, or Build and Execute
Planning is included in every paid plan. Playbook Automation is a $999 a month add-on for Professional and Growth that turns the plan into campaigns on schedule, through the same wizard your team already uses. It is not available on Starter.
Build creates each campaign for your review. Nothing sends. Build and Execute creates the campaign and launches it, with a launch notice and a review window in which anyone with access can cancel. Each campaign runs as the person it was assigned to, so ownership, tasks and replies land with the right rep.
Every user can view and edit the plan. Starting or pausing automation and deleting a Playbook need the Playbook owner or an organization Admin. An organization can hold more than one Playbook.
Why a year, not a quarter
A strategy engagement to plan the year takes weeks, and the plan is stale within a quarter. Playbook does the planning from the evidence on your own website in about 10 minutes, and because each slice is a campaign AvairAI can build and run, the plan is executable the day it is written.
Playbook shares campaign capacity with everything else your company runs. Playbooks do not add campaigns to your plan; add-ons and additional plan copies do.
A year of strategy in about 10 minutes
A Playbook plans up to 200 narrow campaigns from your website, forecasts interested leads as a range, and, with Playbook Automation, builds or launches them on schedule through the wizard your team already uses.
Frequently asked questions
What is a Playbook in AvairAI?
A Playbook is a ranked portfolio of narrow outbound campaigns for the year ahead, planned by AvairAI from your website and an optional ICP document. Each campaign is one Industry x Size x Location slice with a one-line rationale. A Playbook holds up to 200 campaigns, and every one of them is a normal AvairAI campaign underneath.
How is the lead forecast calculated?
The Goal calculator works back from a revenue target through closed deals, proposals and opportunities to interested leads (MQLs), using published B2B conversion benchmarks banded by deal size. Every rate is editable. The forecast is always shown as a range, about 1 to 2 interested leads per campaign, and it is labeled as an estimate next to the record of what each campaign actually produced.
Does Playbook send anything on its own?
Not unless you turn on Build and Execute. Planning sends nothing. Build creates each campaign for your review and sends nothing. Build and Execute creates and launches each campaign on schedule, with a launch notice and a review window in which anyone with access can cancel.
What does Playbook Automation cost?
Planning is included in every paid plan. Playbook Automation, which covers both Build and Build and Execute, is a $999 a month add-on on Professional and Growth. It is not available on Starter.
Can I edit the plan after it is built?
Yes. Every edit creates a version you can restore. Campaigns that have already run are frozen; the road ahead stays editable. You can change slices, territories, the team and the goal at any time, and Playbook recalculates the forecast.
Does a Playbook use my monthly campaign capacity?
Yes. Campaigns created from a Playbook count against your company's shared monthly creates and runs, the same as campaigns you create by hand. Playbook tells you what fits and what was not scheduled. To run more, add a campaign add-on or another copy of your plan.
