AvairAI Campaign Setup Checklist: Launch in 10 Minutes
Go from your website to a live campaign in about 10 minutes. A 9-step checklist that takes your first AvairAI campaign from setup to launch.
Give AvairAI your website and you can have a live campaign running in about 10 minutes. This AvairAI campaign setup checklist makes sure your first one launches clean and produces interested leads, not just activity.
Building precision outbound the traditional way, whether you hire an agency or assemble the tools, lists and copy in-house, takes weeks and runs into real money before a single email goes out. AvairAI compresses that into one short flow. The risk is that the steps that actually protect your results, contact verification, compliance screening and a quick self-test, are the easiest ones to skip. Work through the nine steps below in order and you will launch with clean data, a compliant call list and a campaign you have already heard for yourself.
What this checklist covers
- One input gets you started. AvairAI builds the whole campaign from your website URL. You do not write copy, build lists or upload a case study.
- Contact Verification protects your sender reputation. A one-click check cuts bounce from about 30% to under 2% before you send.
- Built-in compliance screening checks every phone number before any call, so you know exactly who is safe to call.
- You hear the campaign before your prospects do. Test mode sends the emails and calls to you first.
Before you start
The only thing AvairAI truly needs is your company website URL. Its AI agents read the site to learn your product, your value proposition and your ideal customer, and they pull or generate the case-study insight on their own. There is no brief to assemble.
Two practical extras help. The first is a business email address to send from, not a personal Gmail or Yahoo account. The second, only if you have them handy, is the industries, job titles and regions you most want to reach. Neither is required to start; they just sharpen the targeting.
If you have not set up your account yet, create one at avair.ai, verify your email and complete your profile. Then you are ready for the Campaign Wizard.
The 9-step setup checklist
Step 1: Create the campaign
From your dashboard, click Create Campaign. The Campaign Wizard opens with a four-step guided flow. That is the whole of step one. The real work starts on the next screen.
Step 2: Enter your website
Paste your full website URL, including the https://, and use your main site rather than a single landing page. The AI reads your homepage, product pages and any customer stories it can find, then works out what you sell, the problem you solve and who buys. The richer the site, the sharper the messaging it writes back.
This is the moment the "just your website" promise pays off. There is nothing to upload and no case study to dig up. If the AI cannot find a customer story on your site, it generates the use case and pain points itself.
Step 3: Review what the AI wrote
In a minute or two the AI produces a full campaign: positioning, personalized emails, call scripts, a target account list and the buyer personas behind it. Read it like an editor, not a spectator.
Check that the value proposition sounds like your product and not a generic template, that the pain points match what your customers actually complain about, and that the tone fits your brand. Skim the subject lines and email bodies for relevance and a clear ask. Confirm the target industries, company sizes and seniority levels are the buyers you want to reach. Then edit anything that reads slightly off and add the specific language your customers use; small corrections here compound across every contact. If you want a benchmark for what strong Pair Selling messaging looks like, it leads with the prospect's problem, not your feature list.
Step 4: Add your contacts
Now choose who the campaign reaches. You have three options: let AvairAI source contacts from its database of 105M+ verified professionals, upload your own list or import from your CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive).
For a first campaign, start tight. AvairAI sources up to 250 contacts per campaign, and your own uploads can take you to 500 total, but you rarely want all of them at once. Around 200 well-matched contacts is plenty to prove the campaign works, because focused lists consistently outperform bigger generic ones. If you upload, give each row at least a name, email and company.
Step 5: Verify the contacts
Run Contact Verification before you send anything. One click checks email deliverability and current employment, then sorts every contact into green (verified and ready), yellow (worth a second look) or red (remove). Clear out the red, make a call on the yellow and move on.
This is the cheapest insurance in the whole setup. Stale B2B data is everywhere, and what dirty data does to your bounce rate is brutal: send to an unverified list and you can watch a third of it bounce. Verification pulls that from about 30% down to under 2%, which is what keeps your domain reputation, and your deliverability, intact.
Step 6: Screen for compliance (phone outreach)
If your campaign includes calls, screen them next. The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) governs who you are allowed to call, and AvairAI's TCPA Compliance Check enforces it for you. It works in two stages: first it screens against your internal do-not-call (DNC) list, then it runs a broader compliance screen, and it sorts every number into CAN_CALL_AI, CAN_CALL_MANUAL or CANNOT_CALL.
Those labels are not bureaucracy. The TCPA lets a recipient recover $500 per violating call, and up to $1,500 when the violation is willful, with no cap on the total. AI calling carries its own rules on top: in 2024 the FCC ruled that calls using AI-generated voices count as "artificial" under the TCPA, so they need prior consent and disclosure. That is exactly why AvairAI treats automated calling as a secondary, compliance-gated channel: the AI only calls contacts cleared as CAN_CALL_AI, your reps handle the CAN_CALL_MANUAL numbers themselves, and nobody touches a CANNOT_CALL contact. For the fuller picture, here are the TCPA rules every sales team should know.
Step 7: Connect your sending email
Connect the business mailbox the campaign will send from. AvairAI supports Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 over OAuth, or any provider over SMTP/IMAP. Authorize the connection, then confirm that domain authentication shows green.
One deliverability note worth getting right: make sure SPF, DKIM and DMARC are configured for your domain. These are no longer optional. Google's sender guidelines now require email authentication, and bulk senders must set up all three, with unauthenticated mail increasingly rejected outright. If AvairAI provisions a fresh mailbox for you, it warms it for free; a brand-new mailbox still needs to warm up before it sends at full volume, so let that finish before you scale.
Step 8: Test the campaign on yourself
Before a single prospect hears from you, run a test on your own contact details. A Quick Test sends two touches, one email and one AI call, straight to you. A Full Test runs all 12 touches at 5-minute intervals so you can experience the whole cadence in a few minutes instead of three weeks.
Listen to the AI Call Agent and read the email the way your prospect will. If the opening lands flat or a line sounds wrong, fix it now. This step is the difference between catching an awkward script in private and catching it after 200 people have already heard it.
Step 9: Launch
Before you click Launch Campaign, run the final pass: settings reviewed, contact list final, mailbox verified and warmed, compliance check done, test passed. Then launch.
Your 12-touch cadence starts. Over about 3 weeks AvairAI sends the personalized emails automatically and queues your call and LinkedIn touches as Manual Tasks, so your reps open ready-to-run work instead of building it. The campaign runs across email, calls and LinkedIn on a consistent schedule, drops contacts that bounce and reads replies for sentiment as they come in.
After launch
The first week is about attention, not adjustment. Check the dashboard daily, read every reply and clear your Manual Tasks queue, which holds the queued calls and LinkedIn touches for the contacts cleared as CAN_CALL_MANUAL. Keep an eye on your email deliverability metrics for any early warning signs.
Once the campaign settles, shift to a weekly rhythm. Review performance, respond fast to anyone who shows interest (speed of first reply is one of the biggest levers on whether a lead converts), keep the Manual Tasks moving and fold what you learn into the next campaign.
Quick troubleshooting
- Emails are not sending. Check the mailbox warmup status and domain authentication first; most send failures trace back to one of those.
- Open rates are low. Revisit your subject lines and plan an A/B test for the next campaign.
- Many contacts fail verification. That is a data-source problem. Try a different source or upload a cleaner list.
- The compliance check flags a lot of numbers. Normal in some industries. Route those contacts to Manual Tasks and have a rep call them.
Where the human comes in
This checklist is Pair Selling in practice, the methodology behind every AvairAI campaign. The division of labor is deliberate.
AvairAI handles the grind: researching accounts, building and verifying the contact list, writing a personalized message for every contact, sending the emails, orchestrating the cadence and handling replies with sentiment analysis. You and your reps handle the parts that need a human: reviewing the AI's work before it ships, completing the call and LinkedIn Manual Tasks, and responding to interested leads to book and close them.
That split is the whole point. AvairAI fills your pipeline with interested leads; your salespeople do what software cannot, building the trust that turns a reply into revenue. Together you cover more ground than either could alone. You never sell alone.
